The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering proudly announces that Mr. Adithyan Lal of S4 ECE has been selected as one of only two candidates in the Skill: Electronics category under the Manufacturing and Engineering Technology sector at the prestigious IndiaSkills Competition 2025–26. This remarkable accomplishment highlights his exceptional technical competence, dedication, and commitment to excellence in the field of Electronics.
As part of this achievement, he represented the State of Kerala at the South Region Competition held in Hyderabad on 21–22 February 2026. Competing at the regional level among some of the most talented participants in the country is a significant milestone and a matter of immense pride for the department and the institution.
Congratulations to Team Celesta for being selected as Global Finalists in the NASA Space Apps Challenge 2025. The event witnessed active participation from four students of S4 ECE: Ms. Abisha Mariam Biju, Ms. Aparna Antony, Ms. Athira S, and Mr. Melvin George Mathew (S4 AD), who were part of the programme and contributed to its success.

Proud moment for SJCET Palai! Our student team has been honored among the Top 100 in India in the College Youth Ideathon 2025 — the nation’s largest entrepreneurship competition, jointly organized by MEPSC, IIT Delhi, ThinkStartup and SBI, held at IIT Delhi on April 5th & 6th 2025. The team received medals, certificates and a cash prize of ₹5,000, awarded by Ms. Ruby Sinha, Founder of Sheatwork.com and President of BRICS-CCI WE. Selected from over 44,000 student projects across India, the team comprises of final year B.Tech ECE students Ms. Arundathi M.K, Mr. Ditto K Sunny, Mr. Emmanuvel Sebastian and Ms. Liya Ann Biju under the mentorship of Dr. Arun P, Associate Professor, Dept. of ECE.
