Dr. Rajesh Baby served as Principal Investigator and Mr. Justin Jose as Co-Principal Investigator, with a funding amount of ₹6,00,000 for 12 months starting 19th October 2019. The project has been completed.

  • “Experimental Investigations on Energy Efficient Buildings Using Phase Change Materials in Tropical Climate” was a research project funded by ANERT. Dr. Bennet Kuriakose was the Principal Investigator and Dr. Rajesh Baby served as Co-Principal Investigator, with a funding amount of ₹1,00,000 for 12 months starting 19th October 2019. The project has been completed.

  • “Experimental Investigations on Nano-Enhanced Phase Change Materials for Latent Heat Storage Applications” was a research project funded by SERB under the TARE Fellowship. Dr. Rajesh Baby served as Principal Investigator with Prof. Dr. Sabu Thomas as Mentor. The project received ₹18,30,000 for 36 months starting 13th December 2021 and has been completed.

  • “Design, Fabrication and Implementation of PCMs Based Passive Cooling System for Thermal Management of Electronics” is an ongoing research project funded by ANERT, led by Dr. Rajesh Baby as Principal Investigator, with a funding amount of ₹15,10,615 for 24 months starting 16th February 2023.

  • “Design and Fabrication of Gasifier Stove” was funded by APJAKTU, CERD and led by Dr. Rajesh Baby as Principal Investigator, with a grant of ₹50,000 (UO No 218/2020/KTU dated 06.02.2020). The student team included S. Harish, Josevin Joseph, Sajo Mathew, and Sen Sabu. The project has been completed.

  • “Emergency Ventilator Challenge” was funded by APJAKTU, CERD, supervised by Dr. V.P. Devassia and Dr. Rajesh Baby, with a grant of ₹10,000. The student team included Edwin S Pananthanam, Vineeth K, Clavin Rali, and Criss Shaji. The project has been completed.

  • “Design and Development of an Origami-Inspired Gripper for Picking Objects of Variable Geometry” was funded by APJAKTU, CERD, and led by Dr. Rajesh Baby as Principal Investigator, with a grant of ₹32,000 (U.O. No. 933/2021/KTU dated 15-06-2021). The student team included Jayadevu P R, Bevin Prakash Mathew, Felix Devasia, and Arun Asok. The project has been completed.

  • “Development of an Automatic Height Adjusting Pillow to Relieve Chronic Neck Pain (Cervicalgia)” was funded by APJAKTU, CERD, led by Dr. Rajesh Baby as Principal Investigator with Dr. George Tom Varghese as Co-PI, and had a grant of ₹45,000 (UO No 964/2022/KTU dated 27.04.2022). The student team included Bilbin Mathew, Paul Vargheson, and Alan Philip Rajan. The project has been completed.

  • “Smart Bed: A Self-Adjustable Bed for Bedridden Patients to Prevent Bedsore” was funded by APJAKTU, CERD, led by Dr. Rajesh Baby as Principal Investigator with Dr. George Tom Varghese as Co-PI, and had a grant of ₹36,500 (U.O.
